I will host another Mentor session on Long Island for SANS's flagship course Security 504: Hacker Techniques, Exploits and Incident Handling. The class prepares the students for the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification, which is widely accepted as a valuable and distinguishing certification.

Throughout the class, we will discuss how attackers target a site and attempt to compromise it, and how we as defenders can do our best to detect the attempts and stop the attacks from being successful. The class if fairly technical in nature and will cover a lot of very nifty tools and fun hands-on exercises.

If you are interested in attending 10 consecutive weeks of two hours per week, starting on September 29, please drop me a note. The sessions will take place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Registration information can be found here.
